Students who have to attend the counselling sessions organised by BHU when newly admitted can do so online. The steps to attend the counselling online are:

  1. Thoroughly go through all the details mentioned in the call letter.
  2. Ensure that there is no need for attending the offline counselling from the information on the call letter.
  3. Download the call letter from the BHU Counselling Portal login.
  4. Upload all the necessary documents as well as an undertaking if some necessary documents are unavailable.
  5. Enter all the necessary details on the Preference page.
  6. Print or save the confirmation page that appears.
  7. Regularly check the details of the allotted course or subject from the portal.
  8. Send an email to confirm the locking of the seat.

 Steps for the Offline Counselling Process 

Students looking to attend the counselling process offline can follow the steps below:

  1. Go through all the guidelines and procedures detailed in the call letter.
  2. Download the call letter from the login page of the counselling portal.
  3. There is no need to upload any documents online. However, students will have to carry original and self-attested copies of the educational certificates and other documents for the counselling session.
  4. Submit a declaration stating that some of the necessary documents are currently unavailable if required.
  5. Follow all the instructions provided for entry preference and verification.
  6. Follow steps 7 and 8 from the online counselling process section.

  • Migration Certificate
