NSP New Registration
If you are a fresh applicant, you can register as a new student on the NSP Portal. Below are the steps for National Scholarship Portal new Registration.
- Visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal as the first step in registration.
- On the top corner of the window, you can see a button “New Registration” Click on that.
- Read the instructions carefully and once you have understood the guidelines, proceed with registration.
- Enter the student’s details when you register as a new applicant. The information you provide in the “Student Registration Form” must be authentic and should match with the document.
- Tap on ‘I agree to the following’ button. further, click on ‘Continue’.
- You may see the New Registration form on the screen. Fill in all the columns with accuracy.
- Tap on the ‘Register’ button.
- Check your inbox to see the login credentials sent to your mobile number. If you don’t find it in your inbox and spam folder, then use the “Forgot Password” option to create a new password.

- Type in all the requested details that include your application-ID, password, and captcha code shown on the webpage.
- Click on the login.
- A new application will appear on the screen.
- You may fill in all the required details.

- Your application is successfully submitted.

Note to the Applicants
- Once you finish entering the data, you may submit the registration form. The system will generate the password to login into the account will be delivered to the mobile number provided. In case you fail to receive the login credentials due to technical errors, click on ‘Forgot Password’ on the login page.
- All students must mention their family income in the box provided while filling in their scholarship application. This income information must be genuine and should match with the data shown on the income certificate (issued by the competent authority).
Guidelines for Filling NSP Scholarship Form

- Aadhar Number is not mandatory for New NSP registration. The students can also complete the registration process with their school/college/institution enrollment ID or Bank Pass Book.
- Students should verify all the details before submission as there is no provision for any corrections after the submission.
- The mode of submission of application will be online only.
If the students found ineligible for Scholarship at any stage after the grant of Scholarship, the Ministry of Education, will cancel the Scholarship of the student and also blacklist the student for Central and State Government’s Scholarship for Five years.

Step 1: Visit the official website of NSP.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Login’ button and select the year (either fresh or renewal).

- Click on the menu “Ministry Guest Login.”

- Click on the button” State Registration.”
- A page will appear with the names of all the States & UTI in India. Click on any state to get the details of the total number of Scholarship registration in that State. The details of the registration in that State will appear on the screen followed by District and Block wise registration from that State.
- On clicking the district and block, the details the total number of registration from the district and block appear on the page with details of the applicant’s name, ID, Father’s name, and the details of opted State/Block
- Click on “Export Option” to save the file on your system.

How to Check the Sanctioned NSP Scholarship List?
